Our story

In 1990 “G. Russo” began a professional career in the maritime transport sector in the petrochemical field, gaining experience in the three main sectors: Electricity, Oil and Gas.

This link in the supply chain has allowed us to acquire a vast knowledge of the management of technological systems, their automation, safety management, problem solving, energy efficiency, maintenance.


 

In 1997, aware of the need for a change in direction of energy systems, G. Russo decided to invest his acquired experience in renewable energy in the technological sectors for production processes.


 

Thus began a new professional path in the technological sector of alternative energy from renewable sources, and since then he has never stopped

Ecosorus was born as a company that aims at sustainable development and energy efficiency.

In addition to renewable sources, the efficiency of energy resources in a company passes through the efficiency of production processes.

Energy efficiency is one of the most effective tools available to the industrial sector to quickly cut its energy consumption, with advantages both in terms of costs and in terms of reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

In 1997, the Kyoto Protocol began the revolution of energy systems. 168 countries signed in Japan a commitment to reduce emissions into the atmosphere, aware of global warming and air pollution.

Renewable energy sources, such as wind, solar, hydropower, ocean and geothermal energy, biomass and biofuels, are cleaner alternatives to fossil fuels. They reduce pollution, expand our energy options and reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.

Strengthened by this principle, G. Russo has been operating in the field of plant and animal biomass for more than 20 years, testing small and medium-sized cogeneration plants.

Biomass cogeneration represents a winning solution from both an economic and environmental point of view, offering a series of interesting advantages.

One of these is its high energy efficiency: thanks to the simultaneous production of electrical and thermal energy, the process allows to make the most of the energy contained in the biomass, reducing the waste typical of conventional systems. This greater efficiency translates into significant economic savings for companies, which can reduce energy costs and increase their competitiveness on the market.


The biomass cogeneration plant also contributes significantly to the reduction of polluting emissions and the reduction of environmental impact . By using biomass from renewable and local sources, the use of fossil fuels is reduced, thus contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions and other air pollutants. Furthermore, the combustion process takes place in advanced plants equipped with purification and emission control systems, ensuring an environmental impact reduced to a minimum .
